They're Watching Painting
Meet the Creator: Laure Patera
Heavily inspired by my love for the concept of subliminally, this painting is covered in faces of people staring and smiling at the viewer from a dark and shadowy landscape, but most of the faces are not immediately visible and overlap with one another. Graphite is used in some areas to add a shine to the eyes or teeth of some faces and to draw other faces on top, but it can only be seen from certain angles and lighting. This piece was created using graphite and acrylic paint on a 14 in. x 11 in. unframed canvas.
